Apart from the Droid Mini, Motorola and Verizon also unveiled the Droid Ultra and the Droid Maxx. The Droid Ultra and Maxx are similar to each other, except that the latter promises 48-hours of battery life!
As expected, Motorola and Verizon have unveiled their new line-up of DROID phones for the big red carrier in the United States – the Droid Mini, Ultra and the Maxx. The Droid Mini is the direct successor to last year’s RAZR M, and is a “compact without compromise” smartphone with a 4.3-inch 720p OLED screen.
Verizon Wireless, America’s largest operator in terms of customers, is going to hold an event on July 23rd. That’s next Tuesday. According to The Verge, the invite they received says Verizon will be “[unveiling] the next generation of one of [its] most popular family of devices.” In other words, Android phones.
T-Mobile is America’s smallest “large” operator. There are four, the other three being AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon. Verizon Galaxy S3 owners, here is some news to brighten up your day. The big red carrier will soon start pushing a major update for your handset that will enable multi-window mode, and bring some other new software goodies as well. The software update, however, does not bring a bump in the Android version, which remains intact at Android 4.1.2.
