Last month, Xiaomi launched its cheapest budget handset in India: the Redmi 5A. The successor to the Redmi 4A from last year, the Redmi 5A features largely the same specs as its predecessor but features an improved build quality and a lower price tag.
At the beginning of this month, Xiaomi unveiled its new smartphone in India: the Redmi 5A. Dubbed as the ‘Desh ka Smartphone’ a.k.a India’s own smartphone, the Redmi 5A is the successor to the massively popular Redmi 4A from earlier this year.
Xiaomi today launched its cheapest handset till date in India: the Redmi 5A. With a starting price tag of Rs 4,999, the Redmi 5A is meant for the lower end of the budget smartphone segment in India.
