In just a few hours from now, Google is expected to unveil a new HTC made tablet — the Nexus 9 a.k.a Volantis. The last tablet that Google released was the Nexus 7, which was made by ASUS. While the tablet was decent by all means, it could not really compete against the likes of the iPad and Galaxy Tabs and was meant to capture the low-end tablet market.

According to Forbes, Google is all set to unveil the Nexus 9 and Nexus 6 tomorrow (October 15th). Apparently, the company decided against a “big reveal” because it is still fine tweaking Android L and will announce these devices via a blog post.
An HTC executive has teased the impending launch of the Nexus 9 on Twitter by posting a picture of a box that contains something “amazing” and “beautiful” which just arrived.
