Jumping on the battle royale craze, Activision is out with Call of Duty Mobile. It is similar to PUBG and Fortnite, though far more polished than them in terms of graphics and gameplay. Right now, the game is in closed beta which means it is not available for everyone to download from Google Play.
The Galaxy A-series has been a runaway hit for Samsung this year. The company has launched some impressive handsets under the Galaxy A moniker this year including the Galaxy A20, Galaxy A30, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A70, and the Galaxy A90. These handsets run on One UI and pack plenty of features and customization options. Among other things, One UI on the Galaxy A30, A50, etc., also offers the option to password protect installed apps for additional security.
Despite their flagship status, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro come with an FHD+ resolution display. While the panels are good, they are nowhere near as good as the OLED panels used by Samsung on its Galaxy S10 series. While there’s not much one can do about this, as a Huawei P30/Pro owner, you can at least increase/decrease the display density to display more (or less) content.
Apart from excellent imaging capabilities, the Huawei P30/Pro series also has excellent video recording capabilities. Like other flagship smartphones, it can record 4K videos as well. But that’s not it, the phones can also record videos in slow-motion.
The Huawei P30 and the P30 Pro are impressive smartphones that have been ruined by a certain extent with EMUI. This includes Huawei’s infuriating HiSearch which tries to imitate Spotlight on the iPhone and fails miserably while at it.
EMUI on the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro is filled with features. Among other things, the phones also offer two different ways of taking screenshots. If you just got the Huawei P30 Lite, P30, or the P30 Pro and are wondering how to take a screenshot, follow this guide.
In all its wiseness, Google ended up removing certain APIs from Android 9.0 Pie that led to all third-party call recording apps from working. This means that if your device does not come with native call recording option, there’s no way you will be able to record calls on it. Thankfully, Huawei was smart enough to include call recording natively on the Huawei P30 series.
The Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro feature an impressive dual camera setup at the rear. The ‘pro’ variant, in particular, features Sony’s 48MP IMX586 sensor which is capable of capturing some stunning photos for a budget mid-range phone. But did you know that you can further improve the overall quality of the photos taken by the Redmi Note 7/Pro? All you need to do is install a modded Google Camera APK and use it for clicking photos.
If you ended up getting a Huawei P30 or P30 Pro tempted by their impressive camera setup, you must now be experiencing the good and bad of EMUI as well. While it offers plenty of customization options, it has numerous issues as well including the fact you won’t be receiving notifications from your installed apps.
Vivo V15 and Vivo V15 Pro come with a plethora of customization thanks to FunTouch OS. One such feature is to lock apps using fingerprint Scanner and face unlock. Since both crazy fast — especially face unlock — on the Vivo V15 and V15 Pro, you can use them for quickly unlocking locked apps on the device without any issues.
