Alleged OnePlus 7 Pro Specs Leak: Triple Cameras, 4000mAh Battery, and 6.7-inch QHD+ Display

Alleged specs of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro have been leaked and the phones are looking mighty impressive. It looks like OnePlus is focusing more on the ‘Pro’ variant this time around, with the regular OnePlus 7 primarily getting an internal refresh.

As per the leaks, the OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 855 chipset and pack up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. It will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 4,000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charging support.

The biggest highlight of the phone is going to be its display. The OnePlus 7 Pro will pack a 6.7-inch 3120 x 1440 resolution Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The camera setup on the OnePlus 7 Pro is equally impressive as well. This includes a 48MP primary shooter with f/1.6 aperture, OIS, and EIS. This is accompanied by an 8MP telephoto sensor offering 3x optical zoom, and a 16MP ultra-wide angle shooter with f/2.2 aperture. At the front, there is a 16MP f/2.0 shooter.

The regular OnePlus 7 will come with a 6.4-inch FHD+ resolution display. It will pack the same Snapdragon 855 chipset as its ‘pro’ sibling along with the RAM and storage variants. In the camera department, the regular OnePlus 7 will come with a dual-camera setup comprising of a 48MP f/1.7 primary shooter and a 5MP depth sensor. It will also come with a smaller 3700mAh battery and 20W Warp Charging.

Alongside the new OnePlus handsets, the company will also unveil Bullets Wireless 2 though there’s no information on what new features they will offer.

Our Take

The OnePlus 7 Pro is looking like a really impressive flagship smartphone on paper. It will be interesting to see how much OnePlus prices it for and how the public responds to it. The company has always been known for offering budget flagships but this time around, it looks like OnePlus is ready to play with the big boys.
