When Pebble launched, it did so with plenty of colors available to wrap around a wrist. But Pebble knew there could be more, so they asked fans to request what they wanted to see. Thousands of colors offered, and here we are with three new, limited time choices.
Officially announced on their blog, Pebble has unveiled what they’re calling their “Hot, Fresh and Fly” colors. With that, we get to see bright green, bright blue and bright pink. As usual, that means not only the watch face takes on the new shade, but so does the watch band itself.
These new watches are of the “standard” Pebble, and therefore get tagged with a $150 price tag (versus the $250 price tag for Pebble Steel). Pebble notes, multiple times, that these watches will be available for only a limited time, and will only be around while supplies last. Basically, if you want one, act quickly.
“It’s time to be Fresh, Hot, and Fly with three Limited Edition Pebble colors Pebbles to kick up your style and sync with your fun side. This special production run of new colors are available now for $150 on getpebble.com while supplies last.“
Pebble also announced that they’ve teamed up with The Weather Channel (the first partnership the weather-focused network has made with a watch or wearable company, they note), but while an app is probably on the way, they aren’t open about key details quite yet.
There are three new watch faces Pebble is bringing into the Pebble Store as well. Later this year, they’re going to release an animated Reading Rainbow-inspired watch face, which will feature an 8-bit Levar Burton on the display.
Do you plan on picking one of these watches up, or would you rather go with another?[Via Pebble]
