After a few beta releases, OnePlus today announced that it has officially commenced the Android 8.0 Oreo rollout for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. Its surprising to see OnePlus first update its flagship handset from 2016 to Oreo before its existing flagship handset, the OnePlus 53/5T.

HTC has started rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update for its flagship handset, the U11. The company has started rolling out the update in its home market Taiwan first with a wider international rollout scheduled over the coming weeks.
Google has updated its Android distribution numbers for November 2017 and things are not looking good for Oreo and Nougat. While both versions of Android showed an increase in their market share, the improvement was very minute to make any difference.
Hot on the heels of Samsung launching an Oreo beta testing program for the Galaxy S8 and S8+, LG has also launched an Oreo preview program for LG V30 owners. The only problem is that the program is limited to only South Korea for now.
Earlier today, Samsung announced that it has started the beta program of Samsung Experience 9.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ in selected markets. While the final rollout of the update is likely to happen by the end of this year, Galaxy S8 and S8+ owners are eagerly looking forward to what all changes Samsung will be introducing with the Oreo update.
