Redmi Note 5 Pro: How to Enable Full Screen Gestures in MIUI 9.5

Last week, Xiaomi finally started rolling out the MIUI 9.5 update for the Redmi Note 5 Pro based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Apart from bringing the May security patch, the latest version of Android and the improvement it brings, MIUI 9.5 also comes with its own share of enhancements and improvements.

Among other things, MIUI 9.5 introduces Full Screen gestures to the Redmi Note 5 Pro. With Apple jumping on the navigation gestures bandwagon last year with the iPhone X, every Android OEM has also rolled out software updates to add similar functionality to its device.

Xiaomi is also adding navigation gestures to its devices with an 18:9 aspect ratio display with the MIUI 9.5 update. Navigation gestures replace the standard navigation bar thereby making full use of the screen for displaying content. If you have already received the MIUI 9.5 update on your Redmi Note 5 Pro, check out the steps below.
